Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions is based on the Spider-Man movies. This game allows the player to play as 4 different Spider-Man. The original Spider-Man. Noir, 2099, and Spider-Man ultimate. Each Spider-Man have a different combat mode. The combat mode distinguish dimensions Spider-Man.

The original Spider-Man uses melee and web-atacks, Noir Spider-Man uses stealth to defeat enemies, noir Spider-Man is hiding in the shadows and defeat the enemies when the other enemies can not see you. If your going in the light, the enemies will shoot you.

The 2099 Spider-Man uses his suit's advenced abilities in combat mode and it is more accurate. The Spider-Man ultimate it use the power of the simbiote to kill the enemies.
